Performance
Paul Smith is a professional musician performing on piano, oboe, clarinet and saxophone.
As a pianist, he has a residency in the Oak Room Restaurant at Tylney Hall Hotel in Hampshire.
As a woodwind specialist, he has an ability to improvise and sight-read to the highest standards with experience in Orchestra, Concert Band, Big Band, Jazz Band, Dance Band, Shows, small ensembles and solo environments.
Teaching
From the beginning, I have always enjoyed teaching all ages and abilities woodwind, jazz piano, theory and aural.
I teach at the City of London Freemen's School and Yateley Manor.
I run various ensembles at school including wind bands, jazz bands and clarinet choirs. Performances for these groups are termly at school events and occasionally for special events outside of school.
