Net Musical Instruments The cheapest place I have found to purchase clarinet reeds on line. The shop is based in Hove, East Sussex.
Britannia Reeds This is the place to purchase reliable oboe reeds with a guarantee. I use Paris and Regency reeds though beginners may like the Oxford. A useful service is the recane facility which reduces the cost while recycling your old reeds.
Dawkes This music shop has a staggering array of woodwind and brass instruments. What really stands out is the customer service and the on site repair/service shop. I have my repairs done here.

The Rocking Rooster This company despite the wacky name has the cheapest digital Yamaha pianos on line that I can find. I have used and recommended this company many times.

Paul Sogaard A good friend who is an expert on Music Medicine Therapy and the Alexander Technique. He also plays guitar and is part of P S Jazz.
www.flutesalad.org A friendly environment for flautists of all abilities and ages to meet and perform in Hampshire. This is run by an experienced flautist and teacher with an emphasis on bringing the fun back into music making.
The Musicians’ Union I am a member of this union which offers advice and services to professional and student musicians. If you are not a member it is definitely worth considering.
Schools
City of London Freemens School This is an independent school for boys and girls of all ages set in beautiful grounds in Ashtead Surrey. The school is very strong in sport, music and drama.
Yateley Manor School This is a preparatory near the Surrey, Hampshire and Berkshire borders. I have been teaching woodwind here since 1989.
