Why should I Give it a Go?

Simple! To get together and make music with friends, family and others!

Join players of all abilities and ages on orchestral instruments to explore music-making and to prepare a short concert.

 

What, any instrument? Yes! Imagine violins, clarinets and French horns making music with recorders, accordion or mouth organs!

 

Join us for this fun opportunity to pick up your instrument and make music with a unique ‘orchestra’!!

 

How does it work?

  • The music will be medleys by Abba, and from The Jungle Book.
  • The music will be specifically arranged to suit your instrument and level of playing ability.
  • You will need to be able to follow basic music notation

Refreshments – None will be provided, please bring your own drinks and snacks.

 

Concert Performance

Other friends and family are invited to the performance. Entry is free, although there will be a collection for which we hope people will make a donation.

 

Health & Safety stuff

  • Children aged 11 and under must be accompanied by an adult or older sibling throughout the day.
  • All adults running and helping at the event will carry CRB clearance.
  • A qualified First Aider will be present.
  • The event will carry Public Liability Insurance.
